Since the 11th July 2013, regulation (EC) n°1223/2009 of the European Parliament on cosmetic products establishes new rules for cosmetic products available on the european market. This new regulation ensures the protection of human health and consumer information. It permits verification of the composition and labeling of cosmetics considering the latest technological developments.
Manufacturers must ensure that their products comply with regulatory requirements. Regulation (EC) n°1223/2009 indicates the manufacturer's responsibility and the need for toxicological risk assessment of their cosmetics.
ERTC is, at your request, the responsible person for your cosmetic products.
For manufacturers, importers and sellers of a substance or mixture :
CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) regulation, also named regulation (EC) n°1272/2008 of the European parliament relating to the classification, labelling and packaging of chemical substances and mixtures, integrates the classification and labelling criteria of the Globally Harmonised System (GHS) that apply to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
Manufacturers, importers, formulators, distributors and users of chemical substances and mixtures are all concerned by the CLP regulation. All possible hazards must be transmitted by drafting Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for substances and preparations.
